Ayu Commissions Okowa’s Projects in Delta Riverine Communities Amidst Celebration

 The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, has commissioned projects done by the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa in Delta riverine communities.

Some of the projects commissioned include, Ogheye Ultra-Modern Floating Market, Odokun Secondary School Blocks of Classrooms, Hostel Accommodations and Dinning Hall, 3 Kilometer Pedestrian Road linking Oboghoro to Ogheye Dimigun and Pedestrian Bridge crossing the Jorojoro Creek Ogheye Dimigun.


The Olu of Warri His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, Former Governor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Deputy Governor Barr Kingsley Otuaro, Governorship Candidate of the PDP Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, National and State Assembly Members, Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen led by Smart Yomi Asekutu, royal fathers, religious leaders and other dignitaries attended the ceremony in a grand style.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
