Bauchi: Gov Bago rates Bala Mohamed best performing Gov

Governor Umar Muhammad Bago of Niger State has described Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, as one of the best performing Governors in the country. 

Speaking to journalists in Bauchi over the weekend, Governor Bago said without preference to party lines, Governor Bala Mohammed stood out among his peers considering the remarkable infrastructural development he has been dishing out to the people of Bauchi. 

He noted while Bauchi and Niger were created on the same day, they have been fortunate in having successive leaders determined to implement the developmental blueprint of the state. 

"Niger and Bauchi States were brother and sister. Niger is the brother, Bauchi is the sister, because we are created the same day and we share a lot of similarities."

"The Executive Governor of Bauchi State is my senior brother and my mentor. He has been so good to me even when he was a Minister while I was still a small boy. He gave all the kind of encouragement that is needed and today I am a Governor," Governor Bago said. 

After seeing projects executed by the Governor Mohammed-led administration in Bauchi, Governor Bango said the people of Bauchi are fortunate to have him as a leader.

"Governor Bala Mohammed is one of the best performing Governors in Nigeria irrespective of party. He has done wonderfully well in terms of infrastructural development. I have seen a lot of roads and houses."

"After politics, it is about work for the people," he added. 

Governor Bago called on the people of Bauchi to support the policies and programmes of the Governor Mohammed-led administration to succeed.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
