Gov. Fintiri Receives New CP, Adamawa Command

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has received on a courtesy call the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Adamawa Command, Dankombo Morris.

The Governor assured the new CP of maximum support and cooperation to enable him succeed in his new assignment geared towards protecting lives and property. 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri congratulated the new CP, noting that under his watch, he will enjoy maximum support just as his predecessors. 
While doing the formal introduction of the new Commissioner of Police, the newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police, Afolabi Babalola who is also the outgoing CP, thanked the Governor for the support he had enjoyed under his watch.
The newly posted  Commissioner of Police, Dankumbo Morris, unveiled his plans for improved policing assuring the Governor of a safer and secure state.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
