Gov. Fintiri Presides over PDP Critical Stakeholders Meeting

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Tuesday 7th September 2021 presided over the People's Democratic Party (PDP) critical stakeholders meeting ahead of the Party Congress, which is slated to take place from 25th September to 16th October 2021. The event took place at Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola.

Governor Fintiri charged the stakeholders to ensure successful conduction of the Exercise across the State. He divulged that the Congresses at the Ward Level will hold on 25th September 2021 while the Local Government and State Levels will be held on 8th and 16th of October 2021 respectively.

The Governor tasked the stakeholders at all levels to make a level playing ground for women to participate and constitute 35% in the formation of the Exco at all levels.


He pleaded with stakeholders to abstain from generating confusion in the name of controlling the Exco at their Ward and Local Government Levels by avoiding favoritism of relatives or personal friends because of their relationship rather than they should choose men and women because of their abilities and capabilities that will make the party to wax stronger.

The State Chairman, PDP Barr. A. T. Shehu welcomed all the stakeholders to the meeting and reiterated that the party is focused, determined to ensure it reclaims its stolen mandate at the presidency and returns Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri comes 2023 elections.

The Organizing Secretary PDP Adamawa State, Hon. Hamza Bello Madagali  spelled out names of Stakeholders that will collect election materials from the State Party Secretariat for onward distribution to their respective Local Government Areas for 8 congresses.

The Chief Adviser to the Governor, Chief Joel Hammanjoda Madaki and State PDP Women Leader, Captain Altine Daniel (Rtd.) urged stakeholders to keep to the guidelines and instructions given by the Governor and enacted women participation.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
