Governor Bala Mohammed Pledges His Salary, Allowances To Local Hunters

 - calls on them to cooperate with security operatives 

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has commended the concerted effort of the Police, Civil Defense, Department of Security Services as well as local hunters who contributed to the rescue of the thirty seven captives from bandits in his hometown Duguri, Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state. 

Speaking during the commiseration visit, Mohammed announced the donation of fifty motorcycles for surveillance, Ten Million Naira to the local hunters as well as Two Million Naira to the districts, saying he will pledge his salary and allowances for the time being as part of appreciation to their gallantry. 
He further thanked Allah for facilitating the rescue of the captives, calling on traditional rulers and leaders at all levels to avoid conspiracy, sabotage and compromise, pledging to deal with anyone found guilty of attempting to drive communities from their ancestral lands. 

Governor Bala Mohammed while reiterating his administration's commitment to supporting security agencies in the fight against terrorism, called on citizens of the state to contribute their quota by providing them with necessary information about unpleasant movement and activities of the unwholesome elements intending to devastate peace, unity of progress of Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole.
