Deputy Chief of Staff Commends Governor Okezie Ikpeazu For Establishing Molecular Laboratories In The State.



The Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Governor, Sir Don Ubani, has applauded the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, for having worked relentlessly in order to provide the people of the State with Molecular Laboratories.

The Deputy Chief of Staff, who stated this in a release issued at Government House, Umuahia, felt highly impressed that the Governor, by doing what he has done, has, once again, shown that the health of Abia people remains his ultimate goal.

Sir Ubani, who noted that the Governor, having procured all the required equipment for the establishment of two Molecular Laboratories in the State, just before the ones donated by Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited arrived, is now sure that  three Molecular Laboratories will adequately take care of the needs of Abia indigenes. Sir Ubani stated that in his determination to make sure the spread of COVID-19 is drastically reduced in the State, the Governor must have thought it wise to save his people from the burden and agony of waiting to have their samples taken to either Abakiliki or even Abuja before they could know their status.

Sir Ubani, therefore, urged Abians to take advantage of the Governor's show of commitment to their welfare by going for test at the Molecular Laboratories, starting from this week.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
