Gov Bala Featured BATV Live Broadcast Revealed His Plan For Greater Bauchi


Bauchi State Government sets to come up with new sustainable policies and programmes geared to finding lasting solutions to challenges affecting critical sectors of the state's economy.
Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed made this known when the interacted with the citizens of the state in a live broadcast on the Bauchi State Television Authority, Bauchi Radio Corporation, Albarka Radio, Globe FM Bauchi and Raypower Radio.
Governor Bala Mohammed said the new strategies to be introduced are to enable him perform better than his predecessors thereby leaving landmark legacies for the greater Bauchi.
The governor while enumerating the achievements recorded by his administration in the last one year in sectors of Health, Education, Civil Service, Housing among others, assured people of the state of execution of qualitative projects.
He said shortage of manpower and other numerous challenges necessitated the declaration of state of emergency in the sector so as to overcome the situation.
Governor Bala Mohammed who is so much concerned with the number of out of school children in the state, said about 3 billion naira has been budgeted for improving basic education in the state .
In the civil service, the governor assured of lifting the embargo on employment after blocking leakages in the state's payroll in an efforts to reduce the rate of unemployment among youths.
On upgrading the state owned media outfits, the governor announced his administration's resolve to rescue them against collapse and ensure effective service delivery in line with International best practice of broadcasting.
On the current ban of achaba operations in the state, Governor Bala insisted that the step taken is to ensure the security of the state and securing the lives of the citizenry especially at this period of coronovirus disease.
Governor Bala Mohammed on his response to the zero conflict between the executive and the legislature in the state attributed it to the understanding and mutual relationship existed between the two bodies.
