Governor Fintiri Applauds Court of Appeal's Decision

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has commended the efforts of the judiciary in ensuring that justice was served in the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 Governorship election against the popular will of the people of the state. Governor Fintiri described the judgment as a victory for the rule of law, indicating that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria. He also urged all parties to close ranks and work towards the development of the state.

"The judgment did not come to me as a surprise, as the PDP worked tirelessly for its victory during the election," he said.

Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri added that the victory is a reconfirmation of the wishes of the Adamawa people freely expressed in the last election."

While expressing appreciation for the ongoing support of the people of the state, the Governor dedicated the victory to God and the people. He commended the decisions of both the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal for painstakingly assessing all the allegations leveled against him in the petitions before deciding on the merits and demerits of the case.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
