Gov Fintiri Inspects Key Infrastructural Projects in Madagali, to Restore Connectivity and Stimulate Economic Growth
The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Friday, embarked on an inspection tour of key infrastructural projects shortly after observing the Jumu’at prayers at the Gulak Central Mosque.
As part of his working visit to his hometown, Gulak, Governor Fintiri supervised the ongoing construction of major bridges in Hyambula and Wadiga in the Madagali area. These projects are part of the mega infrastructural developments awarded by the Adamawa State Government under his administration.
The governor's visit aimed to assess the level of progress on the sites and reaffirm his administration’s commitment to restoring critical infrastructure in the region.
It will be recalled that the two strategic bridges, which serve as vital links between Maiduguri, Madagali, and Michika were destroyed during the height of Boko Haram insurgency in the area. The damage severely disrupted transportation, especially for commuters and traders transporting farm produce and goods across the region, a setback that greatly affected local economies.
Governor Fintiri’s supervision of these projects signals a fresh wave of optimism for residents and road users, as the state government intensifies efforts to restore connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the region.
