Governor Agbu Kefas Flags Off Distribution of Hospital Equipment Worth Over ₦1 Billion in Jalingo

The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has officially launched the distribution of hospital equipment valued at over ₦1 billion in Jalingo, the state capital.

The event took place at the Essential Drugs Warehouse and was attended by stakeholders from across the healthcare sector.

During the ceremony, Governor Kefas urged hospitals in all sixteen local government areas to utilize the equipment responsibly to improve healthcare delivery. He also assured that he would personally visit the hospitals to monitor how the equipment are being used.

In his remarks, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Bondiya Buma, emphasized that healthcare is a priority for the Kefas administration. He noted that most of the procured equipment is state-of-the-art and ism expected to significantly enhance productivity within the state’s health sector.

Dr. Buma also appealed to the people of Taraba State to support Governor Kefas’s administration in its efforts to advance healthcare and other critical sectors.
