Governor Douye Diri and his running mate, Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, today took their re-election campaign to communities in Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 2.

The PDP Gubernatorial Campaign Council led by its Director-General, Hon. Mitema Obordor, visited Igbedi, Opokuma, Okoloba, Seibokorogha communities to appreciate the people for their massive support.

The Campaign trail was received in Igbedi by the wife of the Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Diri, who hails from the community.

At Igbedi, Governor Diri who inaugurated the newly completed internal road in the community announced the plan to link the community to other Kolokuma/Opokuma communities through the  Igbedi-Kaiama road.

At Opokuma town, the Governor inaugurated two landing jetties and later inaugurated a Corper's lodge in Sabagreia, all Constituency projects executed by member of the State Assembly representing the area, Hon. Wisdom Fafi.

As part of his visit to the Constituency, the Governor accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, took out time to inspect the ongoing Polaku-Sabagreai road, where work is progressing very well.



















The Governor thanked the people for the massive show of support stating that "in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA, we are not campaigning. This is a carnival here."

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
