Governor Fintiri Receives IOM Chief

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiiri, Wednesday, received in audience the Chief Mission of International Office for Migration, IOM, for Nigeria, Mr. Laurent M.J de Boeck.

The IOM Chief is in Adamawa State for a working visit.

He told Governor Fintiri that IOM will begin construction of durable shelter and health centres for IDPs in Michika and Madagali LGAs of Adamawa State.

He therefore requested 30 hectares of land from the government for the project.


Responding, Governor Umaru Fintiiri thanked the IOM for its support to Adamawa State.

He restated the determination of his administration to work with the IOM for the betterment of IDPs.
