Gov. Diri graces aide, cousin's wedding in Yenagoa

 ...Prays God to bless their marriage 

Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri Saturday, attended the marriage ceremony of one of his aides, Precious Orjiakor and his cousin, Doowari Ayamah in Yenagoa.

Former Miss. Orjiakor, was wedded at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, to Mr. Nonso Anyaso while Mr. Ayamah of Sampou community married his heartthrob, Dipamo Akpeki, in a traditional ceremony at Matho Crystal Hotel, Yenagoa.



Governor Diri accompanied by his wives, Dr.(Mrs.) Gloria Diri and Justice (Mrs.) Patience Ama Diri, described Precious as a very humble and disciplined lady and urged the couple to remain steadfast in their journey of life.

Hon. Fred Agbedi, member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency served as Chairman of occasion during the reception for the Anyasos while Prince Lucky Youbogha was chairman at the Ayamah's wedding.

At Matho Crystal, Governor Diri, wished his cousin, Doowari and his wife, Dipamo, well and prayed God to bless the union.

"Today, our brother has decided that he will no longer remain a single man again, and has decided to get married to the love of his life.

He is someone that is known to all of all, and today, I congratulate him and his dear wife and pray for their union to be blessed," Governor Diri stated.

Dignitaries that accompanied the Governor to the two ceremonies include, Hon. Oforji Oboku, member representing Yenagoa/Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edwin Monday Bubou Obolo, Leader, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Ogbara, Ogbia constituency 3, Hon. Wisdom Fafi, Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency two, Hon. Ayibanengiyefa Egba of Yenagoa constituency one, Hon. Pamoh Werinipre, member representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 1 in the state House of Assembly, Dr. Peter Akpe, Chief of Staff, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Chief Solomon Agwana, PDP State Chairman, Chief Isaac Kumokou, PDP Caucus chairman, Kolokuma/Opokuma and other top government officials.
