Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, says his administration and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remain the advocates of the suspended Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi (PDP, Bauchi Central), pledging to support him against any obstacle.

Mohammed was speaking when he presided at the State Executive Council meeting held today where he asserted that dissent must be preserved in political society without a purge or search for heretics.
While pledging to delve deeper into the issue, Mohammed described Senator Ningi as one of the best performing senators whose heritage and uprightness, ancestry and integrity are worthy of praise.

Governor Mohammed added that phase two of palliative is underway hence the need for members of the SEC to offer assistance to the less fortunate to ensure everyone is carried along.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
