Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed resolved to bolster education by partnering with stakeholders in the sector within and outside Nigeria.

He made this known today when he attended the matriculation ceremony of Almuhibba Open University in Abuja, commending the proprietor and the State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed for her outstanding performance and dedication to serving humanity.
While congratulating the 105 graduating students, Mohammed charged them to be good ambassadors, reiterating the commitment of his administration to coming up with initiatives to ease teaching and learning, in addition to the construction of additional classroom blocks, laboratories and ICTs in public schools.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
