PDP Governors' Forum Celebrates Gov. Peter Mbah on His 52nd Birthday

The Peoples' Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON), the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all the member-Governors, heartily celebrates H.E. Dr. Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State as he turns 52.

2. The Forum joins his family, friends, and indeed, all the people of Enugu State, to give all gratitude to the Almighty God for his life, health, and wisdom in the governance of Enugu State.

3. The Forum acknowledges his pragmatic approach to purposeful leadership delivery as witnessed through the reinforcement of law and order, safety of lives and property, as well as the provision of enabling and conducive environment for ease of doing business in the state.

4. In the last nine months, it has been a midas touch in all activities of Governor Mbah in the delivery of good governance in Enugu State. Starting with the erection of an A-class Educational Infrastructure and System upgrade, Water provision, Urban Renewal/Infrastructure revamp, Trade and Investment Drive, Repackaging of the Solid Mineral Sector, Transportation, Agriculture and Agro-based Production, State-Local Government Joint Venture Project Initiatives, Improved Workers' Welfare and Healthcare Service Delivery.

5. Equally, much impact is being felt in flood and erosion control measures, road infrastructure networks linking several LGAs to promote his administration's mega farming ventures against poverty and unemployment, skills development and empowerment programmes for youths and women aside other people-friendly initiatives.

6. Perhaps the greatest game changer is the conceptuatualisation and development of a New Enugu City.

7. The Forum assures him of our unalloyed support at all times as he oversees the affairs of state.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
