The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has expressed strong desire to collaborate with the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN) in a bid to enhance the state's health sector. Addressing Management and staff of the Institute shortly after a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Patrick Dakum, at the IHVN headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, Governor Mutfwang acknowledged with delight, his longstanding relationship with Dr. Dakum.  He expressed his determination to leverage on the partnership to advance the health sector within the state. Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Monday August 28, received a report from the Palliative Committee set up by the State Government to recommend measures to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal on the less privileged in the society.  The brief ceremony which took place at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Uyo, witnessed the presentation of the recommendations, by the chairman of the Committee and Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah. Senator Diri gave the assurance when he led a high-powered delegation on a condolence visit to the Yenagoa Community Council of Chiefs over the demise of their paramount ruler, Chief Maxwell Clarkson Kikile.
