Governor Fintiri Receives Foreign Investors

  On Tuesday, November 15th, 2022, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri received Egyptian investors who had come to study investment opportunities in the crop, livestock, and fisheries industries at the Government House in Yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri told investors that since taking office, his administration has created an environment conducive to investment and business growth in the state. 

Governor Fintiri added that the government’s giant strides have yielded enormous success, as the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics recently listed Adamawa as one of the states with more than a billion dollars in investment.

The Governor assured investors that the state is safe and that the government is ready and willing to support them and ensure their security, describing Adamawa as a one-stop shop for all investment requirements.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Eqta Investment Limited, Mr. Bashir Yusuf Ibrahim, who led the foreign investors, praised Governor Fintiri for being friendly to investors and for the milestone of people-oriented projects executed under his supervision.

He stated that the delegation was in the state to investigate potential investment opportunities in rice, soya beans, and sesame, as well as livestock and fisheries for production and export to North African and Middle Eastern markets.

He also stated that Egyptian investors have decided to partner with the Eqta firm in Nigeria, declaring that Adamawa is the first state visited in the country due to its vast potential in the Agribusiness sector and friendly environment.
