Ikpeazu Salutes Wabara at 74

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a warm message of congratulations to a former Senate President and current Secretary of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Adolphus Wabara on his 7th birthday today.

Governor Ikpeazu describes Senator Wabara as a shining jewel of inestimable value to the people of Abia State, an outstanding political stalwart and an authentic Elder Statesman who has served our State and Country with diligence and integrity.

The Governor notes that Senator Wabara's life has been defined by service to the people and who left solid and impeccable records of service. Governor Ikpeazu is particularly delighted and grateful to God that at 74, Senator Wabara is still very strong and basking in excellent health. 


"Even as we mourn the passage of your late dear wife who would have stood by your side at this stage of your life, we must not lose sight of the great and manifold mercies of God in your life. We mourn but we are thankful to God". The Governor stated.


Governor Ikpeazu is grateful to Senator Wabara fkr for his patriotic service, especially to the Government and People of Abia State, particularly in his last assignment as Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Abia State University where his long years of experience in public service and administration impacted positively on the workings of the institution.


The Governor, on behalf of the Government and People of Abia State, wishes Senator Wabara a blessed 74th birthday and a prayer to God for many more years of service to our country.
