The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF), under the Chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, the Governor of Sokoto State, is happy to 

celebrate with you on the 63rd anniversary of your birth, today (Saturday, June 4, 2022).

 


It is indeed with joyful hearts and gratitude to God, that we join members of your family in thanking God for His benevolence and fortitude all these years.

 

You have been a source of inspiration in the PDP–GF family and an engine of cohesion and development.

 

As Governor of Bayelsa State, you have been phenomenal in your delivery of people-oriented projects and programmes to the people of the State, coalescing in the magnificent celebration of your two years in office recently. 

 

Under your leadership, Bayelsa State has witnessed sterling growth in the unique way you have consolidated on the achievements of your predecessor in office. We are also enamoured by your achievements in aviation, education, health, roads and power infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, agriculture and many more, in the short period you have governed the State. 


Of utmost importance is that Bayelsa is very peaceful under your watch.

 

We are particularly proud of your outstanding performances, in the various high - level roles you have played in our Party, starting with your leadership role during the 2021 PDP National Convention and during our highly acclaimed 2022 Special National Convention that midwifed the election of our Presidential candidate, first as Vice Chairman of the National Organising Committee and second as Chairman of the Sub-committee on Electoral Matters.

 

We pray that Almighty God grants you more wisdom and His enriching graces, as you continue to lead Bayelsa State to greater achievements and growth.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
