PDP Governors' Forum Celebrates Gov. Ademola Adeleke on His 63rd Birthday

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) and Governor of Sokoto State, H.E Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CON, and all other PDP Governors heartily celebrate their colleague, H.E. Senator Ademola Adeleke, on this special day that he turns 63.

2.    We join the people of Osun in prayers to the Almighty Father to grant him more wisdom, strength, and good health for the work ahead in Osun State and our nation.

3.   Four days ago, Providence sent a pre-birthday gift in the form of  the  Supreme Court verdict confirming his gubernatorial election victory. The will of the Almighty God and the people of Osun was validated to transform the State and touch lives.

4.  He joined the Forum in high spirit, easily associating with his colleagues,  displaying so much confidence in the progressive ideals of our Party (PDP) and the resolute stance of our Forum in rebuilding our country.

5.  He has unreservedly restored the dignity of labour by promp payment of backlog of salaries  and pensions in Osun State since assumption of office, and  made a huge  impact in the development of lives in the State in such a short time. Indeed, his first hundred days is nothing short of a miracle.

6.  He has commenced timely reforms in the education sector, revived ICT and  Science and Technology at basic and secondary education levels, reset agriculture and food supply chains, approved empowerment for SMEs, healthcare provision and infrastructural renewal, road infrastructure and maintenance, skill acquisition for youths and women, and established a conducive environment for investors, among others.

7.  We assure him of our unalloyed support always.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
