As the 2019 general elections draws near, aspirants seeking election into various political offices have been enjoined to present their scorecards to the electorate for scrutiny
before the polls.

A former Governorship candidate in Edo State, Osaro Onaiwu, who made the call in
a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, noted that it is important for public office holders to be accountable for their stewardship to their constituents.

Onaiwu, popularly called ‘Solution’, further stated that the need for the electorate to know the background of those seeking to occupy political offices as regards Family, Business and Politics, would help voters choose responsible persons as
their leaders in the political sphere.

The former Director-General of Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum however urged all
Nigerians to ensure they duly register and collect their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) so as not to be  disenfranchised during the elections.
