Plateau killings: Nigerians have prayed enough – Dankwambo tells Buhari

BY Pat PA Okon

The Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo in an unreserved tweet has told President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians have prayed enough over the incessant killings across the country.

On his Twitter handle, Dankwambo stated, “Nigerians have prayed enough. The reason you elected us is to solve your problems. Nigeria needs more work than prayers. Our nation needs leaders who solve problems and not engage in blame games”.

The governor‘s reaction followed Buhari’s statement on his condolence visit to Jos, the capital of Plateau State where not less than 200 people in some communities were mowed down by armed Fulani herdsmen.

In the statement, Buhari said, “There is nothing I can do to help the situation except to pray to God to help us out of the security challenges
