PDP Abia State Extols Governor Ikpeazu for Lifting Ban on Employment

BY Pat PA Okon

The current lifting of ban on employment by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu; Ph.D, has simply added to a sense of fulfilment and admiration of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State.

In a release issued at Umuahia today, the State Publicity Secretary of the Party in the State; Sir Don Ubani, on behalf of the State Chairman; Sir Johnson Onuigbo, commended the Governor for being sensitive to the plight of the unemployed youths of the State.

The Party noted that though, the world over, governments are not known as highest employers of labour, the Ikpeazu administration has not, in any manner, relented in showing sensitivity to the overall welfare of youths in Abia State.

PDP expressed optimism that with the recruitment exercise the Governor has graciously directed to be conducted by the State Civil Service Commission, coupled with the on-going one by the State Local Government Service Commission, unemployed Abia youths will surely heave a sigh of relief.

The release, therefore, admonished the youths of the State to take advantage of the Governor's magnanimity by going to obtain the application forms from the Civil Service Commission.

It further advised them to continue to repose their confidence in the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu whose considerate nature has been made manifest.
