Senator Yarima Urges Zamfara People to Support Governor Matawalle
Senator Ahmad Sani (Yariman Bakura) has called on the people of Zamfara state to support the administration of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle (Matawallen Maradun) in order to move the state to greater heights.
The Senator who represented Zamfara West Senatorial Distr
ict at the sixth, seventh and eighth National Assembly was in the state to congratulate the governor over his victory as the sixth governor of the state.
Yarima who is the leader of the All Progressives Party (APC) in the state described the emergence of Governor Matawalle as an act of God which must be accepted by all thus the need by all well meaning citizens of the state to come together and support the governor with good and genuine advices that will promote the wellbeing of the state and the people.
He reiterated that anyone who is doubting the new leadership or fails to accept the emergence of Governor Matawalle, is an unbeliever.
He said the time of politicking was over and now is the time for governance which requires the input and involvement of the people.
He then promised to support the governor in all possible ways especially in the area of security challenges facing the state so that lasting peace can return to the state.
While thanking his visitor and commenting him for traveling all the way from Abuja to Zamfara to congratulate him, Governor Bello Matawalle described the Senator as a rare gem that the state ever had and prayed God to continue to guide him.
The Governor said his administration intends to form an all encompassing Elders Forum which will meet monthly to discuss ways of improving the standard of living of the people of the state and the administration.
The Governor who had served as Commissioner at various ministry during Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura led administration then urged the Senator not to relent in availing himself to the administration.
