PDP Governors’ Forum Felicitates With Governor Ugwuanyi @ 59

The PDP Governors' Forum under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, (Governor of Sokoto State) has Congratulated Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Governor of  Enugu State, on his 59th birthday anniversary. 

In a press statement issued on behalf of the Forum and signed by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, the Director-General, PDP Governors' Forum, acknowledges his valuable contributions in the past eight years to the growth of the Forum, the Party and the whole nation.

GOODWILL MESSAGE AT YOUR 59TH BIRTHDAY

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) and Governor of Sokoto State, HE Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CON and all his colleagues, PDP Governors, heartily felicitate with the "Gburugburu", His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and his family on this special day, as he turns 59 years today.

2.  We thank the Almighty God for his life, the sustainable blessings of sound health and protection all these years, as well as the grace upon him to finish well in the line of public service.

3.  The Forum acknowledges his valuable contributions in the past eight years to the growth of the Forum, the Party and the whole nation as we proudly celebrate him.

4.   He has transformed Enugu State beyond expectations through remarkable achievements in various areas covering healthcare provision, road infrastructure, education, industrialization, housing, improved power supply infrastructure, skill acquisition for youths and women empowerment, agriculture and agro-based processing, security for lives and property, water provision and SME, among others.

5.   The Forum highly applauds the legacies he is leaving behind in Enugu State, thus recreating the dynamic culture of progressive development.

6.   We heartily join the people of Enugu, home and abroad, in prayers to the Almighty Father to grant him more capacity enwrapped with sagacity and favour in his service to mankind.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
