PDP Governors' Forum Celebrates Gov. Samuel Ortom On His 62nd Birthday

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) and Governor of Sokoto State, HE Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CON and all the PDP Governors, heartily celebrate their colleague, HE Dr. Samuel Ortom on this special day, as he turns 62 years.

2.   With humility, we offer all gratitude to the Almighty God for his life, the immeasurable grace upon him, and God's protection through life's journey.

3. He has achieved developmental strides in Benue State in various areas including education at all levels, healthcare provision and infrastructural renewal, road infrastructure and maintenance, agriculture and agro-based processing, skill acquisition for youths and women empowerment, power development and water provision, establishing a conducive environment for investors, among others.

4.  We gladly join the people of Benue, home and abroad, in prayers to the Almighty Father to grant him more blessings for the good works he has delivered in the line of service to his state and nation.

5.  We assure him of our brotherly cooperation always.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
