State Executive Council Approves Construction of Township Roads in Madagali

The Adamawa State Executive Council presided over by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, approved the construction of additional township roads in the Madagali Local Government Area at a cost of over N883 million at its 4th 2023 meeting. 

The meeting was held in the Council Chamber, Government House, Yola.

The Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Dr. Garba Umar Pella, stated that the council, after deliberations, approved a contract variation for the dualization of a part of Ahmadu Bello Way in Jimeta-Yola at a cost of over N413 million.

Dr. Pella added that the decision was made to expand the scope of the project, but, that the initial cost of the work was over N823m, and the total revised sum is now N1.2b.

He underlined that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's administration will continue to pursue with enthusiasm the awarding of projects that touch the lives of the people for the development of Adamawa State.

The projects awarded to Messrs. Triacta Nigeria LTD with a 12-month completion period include the construction of Ardo Isa Road, Clinic Road, and various link roads within Madagali Town and Gulak in the LGA.
