PDP Governors' Forum Congratulates Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori On His 60th Birthday

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Mohammed (CON) the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all member Governors, heartily celebrate our colleague, H.E. Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State on this special day, as he turns 60.

2. The Forum joins his family, friends and indeed all Deltans, home and abroad, to give all thanks to the Almighty God for his life, protection, sound health and endless grace, among others.

3.    Again we celebrate his assumption of office as Governor of Delta State, believing in his experience to move them higher having led the State Legislature meritoriously as Honourable Speaker for six years (2017-2023).

4.  His works equally speak volume that he will be a father to all Deltans having provided scholarships to indigenes and non-indigenes under the Oborevwori Foundation Scholarship Scheme; and Entrepreneurship Support/Empowerment endeavours to support petty traders, market women and artisans over time.

5.    The Forum prays that God will grant him necessary wisdom and humility as he fully settles down to serve the State and people and indeed the country at large.

6.    We assure him of our unalloyed support and solidarity always.

7.    Happy 60th birthday anniversary once again!

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
