PDP GOVERNORS' FORUM ELECTS GOV. BALA MOHAMMED AS CHAIRMAN

The PDP Governors' Forum held a meeting at Bauchi, Bauchi State on 3rd June 2023 and resolved.
 
1. That the PDP Governors' Forum should continue to play a leading role in the affairs of the Party and should stabilise the party at moments of need.

2. Elected His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON as the new Chairman of the Forum with His Excellency Siminalayi Fubara as Vice Chairman.

3. The meeting pledged to work together as a united, strong, and indivisible entity.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
