Gov Fintiri to Present 2021 Appropriation Bill on Monday

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri arrived Yola International Airport on Friday after his official engagements in Abuja. 


Shortly on arrival, Governor Fintiri attended the 15th extraordinary Executive Council meeting. 

The council approved the 2021 proposed Appropriation Bill and Budget of Adamawa in line with 2021-2023 medium term expenditure. 


The proposed budget is expected to be laid by His Excellency, Governor Fintiri, at the State House of Assembly on Monday.


Briefing newsmen shortly after the State Executive Council meeting, the State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Garba Umar Pella and his counterpart from Finance and Budget, Ishaya Dabari, as well as Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, gave more details on the budget presentation. 


The State Executive Council has also approved Fahil Consult as consultants of the two flyover township bridges.


The budget is expected to consolidate on the gains being made by the fresh air administration in Adamawa state.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
