PDP Governors' Forum Congratulates Gov. Diri on his Supreme Court Victory


- Admonishes all to sheat their sword and develop Bayelsa


The PDP Governors' Forum under the leadership of His Excellency,  Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal,  CFR, hereby congratulates His Excellency, Senator Duoye Diri on yet another Supreme Court victory on Wednesday, November 18, 2020,  which reaffirmed his mandate as the Governor of Bayelsa State.



We felicitate not only with the Governor and his Deputy but with the entire people of Bayelsa State on this momentous occasion.


We hope and pray that this brings to a finality all possible litigations in the Bayelsa Governorship election. Surely, there must be an end to litigation.

We admonish all stakeholders in Bayelsa to have all hands on deck  and cooperate with the Governor to grow and develop Bayelsa State.

We applaud the great work  the Governor has done these few months and the reconciliation measures he has instituted to ensure that there is no victor and no vanguished in the struggle for the soul and development of Bayelsa State.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
