Governor Fintiri Pays Tribute to Atiku @74
...Says "He's the Greatest Politician of Our Time"
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar GCON and Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party on his 74th birthday anniversary.
He describes Atiku as the "Greatest politician of our time." Today we celebrate our leader and illustrious son of Adamawa who sacrificed a lot for the growth and development of Nigeria"
Governor Fintiri said Atiku Abubakar stands tall in the political history of Nigeria as one who fought to entrench the values of an enduring democracy.
The Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said "Atiku stucked to a tough political style, that has earned him the label of the strongman of Nigerian democracy".
He noted that "This detribilised Nigerian has continued to be a part of our lives and continues to give Adamawa and Nigeria hope and leadership that typically comes from an exemplary leader, and we are grateful for his service to Nigeria".
Celebrating Atiku on behalf of the good people of Adamawa and the entire members of the People's Democratic Party, Governor Fintiri stated that "The former Vice President is blessed with a natural energy and strength of purpose guaranteed to take him well beyond his age in the service of his party and country."
Governor Fintiri commended his efforts at raising people and discovering talents that are today making a difference in public service and academics, stating that "We are proud to stand with this outstanding politician and statesman whose contributions to the enthronement and sustenance of democracy in Nigeria remains unmatched".
Atiku's doggedness and patriotism Fintiri said has given people hope that "Nigeria can still remain an indivisible entity".
