Gov Fintiri Swears in 11 New Permanent Secretaries


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Tuesday, swore into office 11 Permanent Secretaries that emerged the best among the crop of senior civil servants who sat for and passed the qualifying examination conducted by the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON, Lagos.


They are Aminu Hamman Bello, Zainab Umar Adamu, Usman Hamma'ad Mapeo, Muhammad Dabo, Dorathy Nyanole Augustine, Gajere Japhet Ajiya, Saso Benson Ali, Felicia Jatau Bitrus, Bello Hamman Diram, Isuwa Ksabiya Misau and Ali Aggriey Bechur.


The governor while speaking at a colourful event that held in the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola, congratulated them for emerging the best among the crop of senior civil servants who sat for and passed the qualifying examination.


He urged them to be aware that the civil service is at the heart of the over-all development agenda of his administration and government has introduced far-reaching reforms in the process of recruitment, promotion and appointment of civil servants.
