PEER REVIEW TOUR OF LEGACY PROJECTS IN SOKOTO STATE PART 3:International Conference Centre, Sokoto

The International Conference Centre, Sokoto, was commissioned by former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Interestingly, this high-brow facility was initiated by the Wammako administration, but completed by the incumbent administration of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

The ampi-theatre which has a sitting capacity of 1200 will complement the New Sokoto City (NSC) which is coming on stream very soon.

The conference centre will also have an international hotel attached to it, aside plans for a Golf Course, Race Course, a 3-2-4 Housing Estate amongst others that will sit in the technologically-driven Smart City.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces. The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party.
