Makinde commiserates with Oyo East LG chair over mum’s demise

Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, on Sunday, commiserated with the Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Mr. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye, on the death of his mother, Mrs. Sidikat Arowosaye.

The governor expressed his condolences to the council chairman and members of the Arowosaye family, praying to God to grant repose to the soul of their beloved one.

A statement by the Special Assistant (Print Media), Moses Alao, quoted the governor as charging the council chairman to take heart and take solace in the fact that Mama left behind  a good legacy, including the chairman and other children.

The statement read: “I commiserate with the chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Mr. Saheed Adeyemi Arowosaye (AROSAD), on the passing on of his mother.

“I also express my heartfelt condolences to the entire family and friends left behind by Mama Arowosaye.

“At a time like this, when one loses a loved one, there is the tendency to lose oneself to grief, but it is also at this kind of moment that one must be strong and give thanks to God, who has a reason for everything He does.

“So, I charge AROSAD and all the family members left behind by Mama to take heart and take solace in the fact that Mama left behind a good legacy including her wonderful children.

“It is my prayer that God grants repose to Mama’s soul, accept her into Aljanah Firdaus and also stand by the family she left behind.”
