Groups Purchased Nomination Forms For Gov Fintiri

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Friday, received his Expression of Interest and nomination form for the 2023 gubernatorial election at Banquet Hall, Government House. The form was purchased by political associates across the state urging him to recontest the seat of the Governor under the platform of PDP.

The Governor's associates also known as the "Special Committee for Fintiri 2023" in the company of political organizations and the state Labour Union in a colourful ceremony presented the form to the Governor.

The commendation was in response to the extraordinary achievements recorded by the Governor in various sectors of the state.

Speakers from the coalition of political organizations and the Labour Union enumerated the accomplishments and impact of the Fintiri-led administration on the state infrastructure, economy, and civil service at the historic event

The organizations agreed that Adamawa State is worth celebrating because of the Governor's leadership in changing the state's landscape, and they urged him to run for re-election so that he could continue to elevate the state's status to incomparable heights.

They claimed that they are yet to see the Governor's match in the state political arena, prompting their determination to work for his reelection in 2023 for the benefit of the state and the people.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly remarked that the move to bring back Fintiri come 2023 is non-negotiable.

Responding, the Governor on behalf of his family, appreciated and thanked the special committee, Labour Union and political organisation for deeming him fit to fly the flag of the party in the forthcoming election.



After receiving their approval for his candidacy, the Governor stated that their efforts had made his consultations easier, assuring them that he would formally make his position known after due consultation with traditional institutions, party stakeholders, and the general public.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
