Ikpeazu Salutes Governor Ortom As He Clocks 61

 Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a warm message of congratulations to his Benue State counterpart, Dr. Samuel Ortom on the occasion of his 61st birthday celebration.

Governor Ikpeazu noted that the life of Governor Ortom is a testimony of the grace of God and a resilient spirit.

According to the Governor, "it is not every day that one finds a story similar to that of Governor Ortom. Denied the benefit of secondary education by the death of his father, he started life at the motor park and later became a commercial driver. But he never forgot his dreams and pursued it with tenacity. Today, he has risen from the lowest rungs of the society to become not only well educated but with a PhD and has held great positions including those of State Party Secretary, National Party Officer, Honorable Minister and currently, Governor of Benue State".

Governor Ikpeazu believes that the story of the life of Governor Ortom is one that will inspire many young people to keep pursuing their dreams irrespective of the challenges thrown at them by life's vicissitudes.

He commended Governor Ortom for being a strong voice for the defence of the rights of his people

Governor Ikpeazu, on behalf of the Government and People of Abia State wishes Governor Samuel Ortom a beautiful 61st birthday and prays the Almighty God to grant him many more years of service to the people of Benue State and Nigeria.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
