Ikpeazu Congratulates Osun Governor-elect

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a congratulatory message to the Governor-Elect of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke on his resounding victory at the just concluded Gubernatorial Election in the State.

The Governor stated that the victory is a clear testimony of the consistency of Senator Adeleke, the preference of the Peoples Democratic Party as party of choice by Nigerians and most importantly, the power of a resolute people to determine the direction for their future.


Governor Ikpeazu salutes the tenacity of the people of Osun State and assures them that Senator Adeleke's tenure shall bring forth an era of positive change in the State.


The Governor also congratulates the members of the PDP across the country and believes that the outcome of the Osun election is signpost of what lies ahead.


The Governor, on behalf of the Government and People of Abia State, congratulates the Governor-Elect anf wishes him the best of health and strength to face the daunting challenges of leadership.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
