At our 2022 PDP Special Convention, your bid for the Party's presidential ticket further confirmed your capacity to serve and willingness to rescue our nation at this time of dire challenges.


We are proud of your themed 'Dakkada' people-oriented projects dotting the Akwa Ibom landscape on industrialisation, roads,  infrastructure, urban renewal, agriculture, health provision and equipment deployment, remarkable aviation sector development, including the model Ibom Air fleet, power generation expansion, education sector reform, SME funding, women and youth empowerment, among others.


We pray for unfailing divine favour to the end of your tenure as you guide the affairs of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
