Demise of Dauda Maikomo: PDP Governors Condole Taraba Governor, H.E. Agbu Kefas

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum, PDP-GF, under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Senator Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON) and Governor of Bauchi State on behalf of all member-Governors deeply consoles His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, the government and good people of Taraba State on the passing of an illustrious Taraba son, Mr. Dauda Maikomo, Permanent Secretary of Abuja Liaison Office, whose sad event occurred on 11th June 2025, following a brief illness.

The life of Mr. Dauda Maikomo will remain in our hearts for his good works while in service to the Taraba State Government, the nation by extension and humanity in whole. His readiness to show direction and willingness to ensure fulfilment of purpose will certainly remain indelible in the annals of public service in the state.

The Forum joins the family, friends and colleagues during this period of grief to pray for the repose of his humble soul, and the fortitude to bear the loss.

It is heartbreaking that he is gone so soon, but in all, we submit ourselves to the ultimate will of the Almighty God.

Once again, please accept our sincere sympathies.

The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of H.E. Governor Bala A. Mohammed, CON, held an enlarged meeting at the Bauchi State Governors’ Lodge, Tatari Ali House, Asokoro on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Rising from the consultative meeting of the various organs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Party resolved as follows: 1.
