Governor Tambuwal Leads As Okowa, Wike, Ikpeazu, Fayemi, Abubakar In Close Race For 2019 Peace Achievers Awards

The search through the merit-driven award recognition of 2019 Peace Achievers Awards for Governor of the Year on Peace and Security, may have geared into a new level as voting for the nationwide nominations for Governors have been counting in massively on the official website and Facebook page.

According to the on-going voting results which were published on the official site of the organising agency, the nominees may have done quite well as Nigerians are devoting their time and resources trying to vote a Governor, who will emerge as the “Governor of the Year on Peace and Security” at the 2019 Peace Achievers Awards.

From statistical analysis, the results have shown Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto state may emerge winner, as he is leading with over 70%, ahead of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state who had a close tie with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome, alongside others.

Other nominated Governors in the tight race are Gov.John Olukayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Abia State Governor, Dr. Victor Okezie Ikpeazu, and Jigawa Governor, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar.

The Chairman of the Organising Committee of 2019 Peace Achievers Awards, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe has appreciated Nigerians across the world for their consistent efforts and continued participation in voting their choice nominees ahead of the forthcoming award in several award categories.

Other award categories for 2019 Peace Achievers Awards are, Award for Excellence in Youth Empowerment Program, Award for Outstanding Leadership in Public Sector Governance, Award for Most Influential Online Platform, Award for Sport Betting Company of the Year, Award for Safety in Aviation, Award for Most Supportive Brand of the Year, Award for Innovation and Technology, Award for NGO of the Year, Award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Award for Outstanding Leadership and Good Governance in Youth and Community Development, Award for Outstanding Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year, Award for Indigenous Oil and Gas Company of the Year, Business Man of the Year award and Award for Peace Keeping.

Peace Achievers Awards has been one of the most appreciated, prestigious and most meritorious awards in Nigeria and Africa. It’s annual recognition and decoration of significant impacts by devoted Patriots have made it quite distinctive. This edition will witness the official review of the book, titled, “Rise of African Fashion Designers and Lifestyle”, written by Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, the Project Director of Miss Ambassador for Peace Africa and CEO, Peace Ambassador Agency.

The grand award ceremony of 2019 Peace Achievers Awards will be holding in Abuja at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, on the 21st of September to commemorate the United Nations World Peace Day, when the most devoted personalities and institutions across Nigeria and Africa will be recognised, encouraged, decorated and appreciated.

The event has become one of the biggest gatherings of influential personalities in Africa.
