In an uncommon feat in his about three decades forage into politics, Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto has added another laurel to his array of outstanding feats.

This is the second time the media house will confer similar award on the Governor. The first time was in 2011 shortly after he became the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The 2021 edition of the LEADERSHIP Annual Conference and Awards cited that Gov. Tambuwal made its list of awardees “for helping the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) out of a leadership crisis that could have ruined it a few months to the electioneering season.”
The newspaper applauded him “for deploying his sagacity and leadership qualifies to bear in piloting the affairs of the most powerful bloc within the party.”
