Adamawa Governor Sets Up Committee to Ensure Fair Distribution of Housing Units in Malkoi

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has established a robust committee to oversee the distribution of 1,000 housing units in Malkoi, marking a significant step toward his administration's goal of providing affordable housing to residents.

The committee is chaired by Hon. (Dr.) Abdullahi Adamu Prambe, the Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development. It includes key stakeholders such as Adamawa State Government representatives, Accountant General Kefas T. John, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Barr. A.K. Jingi, Surveyor General, Surv. Pwavidon Arnold Simon, and Malam Ibrahim Buba, Permanent Secretary political in the office of the Secretary to the State Government, serves as the Secretary of the Committee.

While other members include representatives from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the State Security Service, and the Adamawa State Mortgage Bank.

The committee's mission is to ensure the fair and transparent distribution of the housing units, aligning with Governor Fintiri’s commitment to providing quality and affordable housing for the people of Adamawa State. 

Additionally, the committee recently conducted an inventory and routine check to assess the quality of work done and to guarantee that the housing units meet the required standards.

This oversight process is part of the administration's effort to ensure 100 percent completion of the project and maintain accountability.
