PDP Governors’ Forum Condoles With Gov. Mutfwang and the Deceased Families on Renewed Fatal Attacks in Bokkos LGA

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Mohammed, CON, the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of the member-Governors, extends its heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Plateau State, H.E. Barrister Caleb Mutfwang and the families of victims in Hurti, Mbar, Ruwi, Daffo and Manguna villages, who were murdered in a renewed mass attack by alleged terrorist gangs.

2. The Forum strongly condemns the attacks and calls for concerted efforts from the Federal Government through the security agencies' formations in the State to secure the people,  reinstate calm, instill law and order, and obtain justice for the innocent and defenceless lives lost.

3. The Forum calls on the people of Bokkos and Plateau State in whole to refrain from taking the laws in their hands, but rather, collaborate with security operatives by giving useful information where available for speedy action .

4. The Forum also identifies with the State Traditional Rulers' Council and urges the chiefdoms in the affected LGA to preach peace for coexistence, with the assurances of immediate action by the government to ensure that justice is done.

5. We join the prayer for mercy from the Almighty God for the repose of their souls. And for fortitude to their families to bear these irreparable losses.

Once more, our deepest sympathy.

Dr. Emmanuel Agbo FNMS MFR
