FFK Says Matawalle A Bridge Builder, Astute Politician
Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode, has described Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) as a bridge-builder and an astitue politician.
The former Minister was in Gusau "to see what the Governor has done in terms of bringing peace to the erstwhile troubled people of Zamfara".
He said the peace attained in the state was commendable considering what Nigerians used to know and hear about the state in the last eight years.
"Governor Bello Matawalle is not only a peace maker in his state, but a bridge builder in the whole country", FFK added.
He said that Matawalle has proven himself to be an astute politician and a responsible leader.
"Only progressive politicians think of bringing everyone on board to promote unity and understanding especially among politicians."
"I am a firm believer in the unity of Nigeria. I am not anti-North or anti-Islam. But I am against any form of mal-administration and poor governance", FFK added.
He described the synergy between the Federal Government and Zamfara State Government, despite political differences, as a great sign of maturity, responsibleness and also very commendable.
"The co-operation between President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Bello Mohammed is a commendable approach which brought the peace needed by Zamfara people to catch-up with their lives", he noted.
He also called on the Federal Government to lift the ban on mining in the state and enforce the needed protection laws so that the citizens of Zamfara will have a taste of their God-given wealth.
