BREAKING: Governor Peter Mbah wins at the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court solidified the legitimacy of Dr. Peter Mbah as the duly elected governor of Enugu State. The dismissal of the appeal filed by Chijoke Edeoga of the Labour Party marks the apex court's unwavering support for Mbah's victory in the March 18th Governorship poll, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This affirmation follows previous validations from both the tribunal and the Court of Appeal in Lagos. On November 10th, the three-member appellate court, led by Tani Yusuf-Hassan, unanimously upheld Mbah's election, dismissing three issues raised by the Labour Party. The court emphasized the lack of substantial evidence to disqualify Mr. Mbah and debunked claims of over-voting due to the absence of voters' registers before the lower tribunal.

Dr. Peter Mbah's triumph stands unshaken, reaffirming the democratic process and the electoral decisions upheld by various levels of the judiciary.
