...Receives Bauchi Emir, District Heads on Sallah Homage

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, says his administration will fortify community involvement to propel the advancement of the state, calling for support and partnership from reputable organisations.

He was speaking when he received His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu and his entourage at Bauchi Government House on Sallah homage where he appreciated the traditional institutions for their continued support, humility, dignity, decency and ethical behaviour.

According to Mohammed, his administration will continue to collaborate with the Federal Government to formulate initiatives to enhance comfort of citizens, commending the World Bank, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and other development partners for their support and collaboration with his administration.

Governor Bala Mohammed added that hence the political ideology of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) concentrates on advancement, evolution and growth, he will not hesitate to exert more effort in alignment of the Party's goals to create enduring legacies and milestones, saying more schools be built to reduce the number of out-of-school children.
He, however, told the participants that his administration remains committed to delivering the democratic benefits to the populace, assuring them of his devotion to ensuring safety of lives and properties of every community.
Notable dignitaries in attendance were the Honourable Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, top government officials, leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
