 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces. Governor Fintiri pays condolence visit to the Bobboyi family on demise of father

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has commiserated with the family of late Engineer Abdullrahman Bobboyi, over the demise of their father. The Governor, who was away on official duty when the sad development occurred, led government officials to the residence of the deceased at 80-Unit to condole with his family. While sympathizing with the family, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri extolled the impact the deceased made through his contributions to the development of the state. He urged the family to emulate their father who left a footprint that will stand the test of time having served as a public servant and an appointee under his administration. According to the Governor, the deceased will be surely missed especially at this critical moment that his wealth of experience and expertise is needed most to foster development and set a pace for the present and future generations in the state.  Hassan Garba The Governor of Taraba state, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has cautioned traditional rulers in the state against unapproved actions such as indiscriminate sales of land and issuance of consent letters to illegal miners. The Governor gave the warning this Thursday at a meeting with traditional rulers at the Exco chamber, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo, where the meeting also discussed issues concerning their roles in the state. Addressing the traditional rulers, the Governor emphasised the importance of the traditional rulers' role in promoting peace, stability and community development. He reminded them of their responsibility to protect their communities and serve as a bridge between the government and the people. HASSAN GARBA  The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has received the report of the Taraba State Advisory Committee on Local Government Autonomy.  The report was presented to the Governor this Thursday at the Exco chamber, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo. Receiving the report of the Taraba State  Advisory Committee on Local Government Autonomy, Governor Agbu Kefas commended the committee for what he described as a well-done and impressive job. He assured that the recommendations would be acted upon, noting that the committee’s work has made the task easier for the government.
