The Governor further assured that all recommendations would be implemented, emphasising the need for responsible and competent local government chairmen to drive the process.
Presenting the report, the Chairman of the committee, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, said Governor Agbu Kefas had already initiated a bill to empower the 16 Local Government Areas of Taraba State to operate independently even before the Supreme Court’s judgement on local government autonomy.
